The founding relationship
In his founding statement for these sites, Jabez identifies World GEO Association as the organization behind establishing World GEO Day and describes himself as instrumental in that work. His presidential initiative, the association and the annual observance serve different purposes within that account.
The personal site explains Jabez’s agenda. World GEO Association presents the board, research mission and AEO recognition program. World GEO Day explains the observance and its participation opportunities.
Why November 15?
The observance takes place the day before the anniversary of the original GEO paper’s first arXiv submission on 16 November 2023. The date connects public discussion with a specific research milestone without claiming that the paper’s authors created this observance.
The 2026 celebration
World GEO Day’s event page places its 2026 celebration at LLM Mastery on 15 November, during the conference’s 14–15 November program in Chiang Mai. That site publishes King and Queen of GEO award information; the association uses King and Queen of AEO terminology. Follow the respective organizer pages for the announced names and program.
